Details: Creed Bridge was built on a river crossing on an unclassified section of the Pentland Moor Road.

The existing bridge deck consists of 4 steel beams spanning a distance of 6.25m simply supported on masonry abutments. There is a very slight skew on the span which can be absorbed by the deck construction. Total deck width is 4.4m wide comprising 3.3m road and 0.4-0.5m undefined verges. The existing parapet is sub-standard post and rail with end pillars. Deck consists of a 150mm concrete slab on jack arches spanning transverse to the longitudinal span. Existing deck is friable and steel rebar is exposed.
