Architect Bjarke Ingels has joined the cast for one of the final episodes of the hit television show.

The designer is a close friend of star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jamie Lannister in the dragon-filled, medieval fantasy series.

Ingels posted a photo of the pair on his Instagram page, which sees them in full Game Of Thrones costume, clinking goblets.

“Kicking it in Kings Landing,” he captioned the post and tagged the location as Kings Landing, Westeros, in reference to the location of the Iron Throne.

Ingels is said to be a super-fan of the HBO show, with Coster-Waldau himself telling Vogue in 2017: “Bjarke knows more about Game Of Thrones than anyone I’ve ever met.”

Ingels, who founded BIG in 2005, is designing Two World Trade Centre in and a park-covered highway on Brooklyn’s waterfront in New York. The studio is also currently working with Thomas Heatherwick to design a headquarters for Google in California.
