Clark Contracts has been re-appointed to hub West Scotland’s supply chain as a primary contractor following a supply chain reshuffle.

The refresh, which was launched in June this year and evaluated by hub West Scotland and its public sector partners, required the submission of a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to demonstrate contractor’s ability to work collaboratively, engage at a strategic level and provide added value.

hub West Scotland is a private sector development company working in collaboration with public sector clients across the West of Scotland to deliver new community projects whilst maintaining best value for money and creating local employment and educational opportunities.

Paisley-based Clark Contracts recently worked with hub West Scotland to complete the refurbishment and extension of the Category A listed Kilmardinny House in Bearsden for East Dunbartonshire Council.

Iain Marley, CEO, hub West Scotland, said: “Clark Contracts performed very well and overcame many challenges to deliver the outstanding Kilmardinny House project. The refurbishment of the existing facility and construction of the new extension creates a fantastic venue for a variety of functions. This was enhanced by the quality of their responses to the supply chain refresh process and so we are delighted to retain Clark Contracts on our supply chain.”

Michael Scanlan, director, Clark Contracts, added: “Having recently completed our first project with hub West Scotland, we are delighted to be re-appointed to their Supply Chain and look forward to continuing to work in collaboration with them to provide high quality projects whilst supporting the local community.”
