Glasgow architecture practice Cooper Cromar has announced the successful completion of a management buy out by the existing senior management team as of September 1.

The firm described the buy out by Steven Carroll, Simon Walsh and Graham Forsyth as a “planned and well considered succession strategy” and “a natural progression for the business and a continuation of the role that the new directors have already been fulfilling”.

Tom Cromar, David Dool and Alan Stark will continue to maintain their involvement as consultants in the practice for the foreseeable future to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.

The new directors see this as a positive step forward in the development of the practice and will provide the necessary continuity to ensure a successful and secure future for the business which will continue to trade as Cooper Cromar Limited.

Cooper Cromar added that it is looking forward to continuing the long standing and successful relationships with clients and business colleagues over the coming years.
