DM Hall moves Dumfries office amid increasing client demand

Established for some 26 years in the town’s Buccleuch Street the move has come at a very positive time for the business.

The recent move was overseen by office manager, Thornhill born and bred Tracey Smith, who has close connections with Dumfries. Tracey is also responsible for business development in the region. Fiona Anderson combines customer service and administrative support for the Dumfries team also ably assists Tracey in the office.

Tracey said: “We are all excited to be moving into the new, bigger premises. The local market is as busy as I have seen it in my 12 years with the firm and demand for Home Reports and other professional services is increasing. Many of our clients are returning to DM Hall for our expertise and local knowledge.”

DM Hall director and experienced residential chartered surveyor Michael Churm heads the local surveying team with Joseph Wemyss also undertaking surveys and valuations across the region.

Michael said: “The Dumfries and Galloway market is extremely buoyant just now. Being a known and trusted firm of surveyors on Buccleuch Street puts us right at the heart of the principal regional town. Our move from our offices on the first floor of number 17 to the whole of number 11 improves accessibility to clients and will allow our commercial surveyors and building consultancy the opportunity to expand their already strong links in the region as well.”
