MLA rings the changes with raft of promotions

Michael Laird Architects (MLA) has announced a number of promotions as part of a wider review of the internal structure of the business.

MLA rings the changes with raft of promotions

The practice is promoting six staff, Douglas Herkes, Mark Lewis, Sandy Anderson, Stephen Brewer, Stephen Gornall and Stuart Falconer, to the new role of project director in recognition of “the passion and experience that each of these people bring to MLA, and the contribution that they continue to make to the successful running of the business”.

To “keep agile in the changing workplace landscape”, MLA is investing in its IT systems and infrastructure and has appointed Nick Gunn as its new IT director to lead the process.

It has also promoted five staff, Agnes Robertson, Luca Di Somma, Michael McGurk, Nikhil Barghava and Anthony Newman, to the position of associate, who “embody the values of MLA and are well-positioned to develop their skills and share their expertise”.

MLA added: “These promotions will help us strengthen the relationships that we have with our valued clients and collaborators, and continue to deliver the high quality of service that we are proud of.

“Our thanks and congratulations to all involved, and we wish them well in their new roles.”
