Link Property is looking for a highly skilled person, matched with experience, who will manage, support and mentor our PSL* Repairs & Compliance team to ensure the highest quality of customer service is provided.

The Repairs & Compliance Supervisor is a pivotal role in managing a highly effective repairs service for tenants and landlords; ensuring the properties we manage are safe, compliant and meet the qualitative standards required.

The role which sits within Link Property (Link’s in-house contractor), is principally to manage the administration element of our PSL repairs service for a growing portfolio of properties and the budgetary performance. The post holder will provide the locus for all administrative repairs staff; comprising Reactive/Void Repairs and Compliance administrators and will work alongside our Trade Supervisor, who manages operatives and contractors.

*Link Housing Association deliver the city of Edinburgh Council’s Private Sector Leasing Scheme (PSL). PSL deliver this service to over 1,100 Landlords with approximately 1,500 properties and tenancies. The leased properties are utilised by the Council to provide intermediate temporary accommodation.

About You

As Repairs & Compliance Supervisor, you will have proven experience of line managing a team of staff , working in social housing or the private sector within a repairs context. You will have extensive knowledge and awareness of relevant residential maintenance compliance requirements and an understanding of legislation and how it will impact on all our customers.

Experience of managing repairs budgets and workload allocation is essential to this role. The postholder will the ability to support staff with repair diagnostics and must have experience of delivering a customer focused service.

Intermediate I.T. skills are required for this role, with the ability to report, interpret and interrogate data (Excel and Exporting Reports from Databases). Experience of using MS Office and Housing Management databases is essential for this role.
