hub South West is a public-private partnership that enables cost-efficient design and construction of community infrastructure within Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway. Hub South West has transacted on over £700m of social infrastructure projects across the Education, Housing, Blue light and Health sectors and actively engages with local SME’s to enhance our Supplier Network.
In order to support our rapidly growing pipeline of projects, hub South West is recruiting a Development Manager who will be responsible for ensuring new projects are developed in accordance with the hub South West method statements and best practice, taking projects from inception through to financial close. They will manage the development team and supply chain and ensure Participants are receiving a consistently high level of service.
This role will also include identifying local suppliers and cultivating strong relationships, ensuring design quality throughout all proposals, identifying new project opportunities and keeping appraised of all market trends, emerging markets and demands upon our participants.
The Development Manager will also have the responsibility of managing and selecting key personnel on projects in conjunction with Participants, negotiating legal and commercial discussions with stakeholders, ensuring consistency of approach and quality and achieving value for money against the project affordability cap.
Candidates will hold a degree in a built environment discipline and have ideally 5 years industry experience in developing projects.
