Knight Frank and Sheridan Property Consultants acted for the vendor, while Lismore Real Estate Advisors represented the purchaser.

The property comprises two retail units tenanted by Marks & Spencer and The Range. Both are part of the wider Renfrew Road Retail Park, which was developed by London & Scottish Developments and also includes a Tim Hortons drive through and a Lidl supermarket.

In 2015, London & Scottish acquired the site, which was formerly a derelict industrial estate and bowling alley that closed in 2010. Following a consultation process to secure planning consent, construction started in 2018 and Lidl, The Range and Tim Hortons started trading in 2019. In early April 2021, the final unit was handed over to Marks & Spencer for fitting out as an M&S Foodhall.

  • Webster Group supports mental health charities with new M90 banner

Kinross firm Webster Group has updated its banner on the M90 to show support for two important mental health charities, Breathing Space and Support in Mind Scotland.

Last year, the company positioned a large rainbow banner on the M90 to show support for the NHS and its key workers throughout the pandemic. The banner has been updated in light of the pandemic sadly continuing, leading many people to struggle with mental health as a result of money worries over lockdown, unemployment, isolation, anxiety, and other issues.

Breathing Space operates a free confidential phone line for anyone over the age of 16 in Scotland. Support in Mind Scotland is a national mental health charity providing compassionate support and services each week to 1,300 people affected by mental illness. It operates a National Information Line from Monday to Friday. Call 0300 323 1545 https://www.supportinmindscotland.org.uk/

“These are two fantastic charities that have never been more needed than now,” said group owner Daniel Webster. “Our rainbow NHS banner attracted so much attention last year, so we thought we would keep the banner, but update it. The issue of mental health has become a key feature of the pandemic sadly, and it’s far from over, so we thought this would catch the eye – that you are not alone if you are struggling.”

Breathing Space can be contacted on 0800 83 85 87 https://breathingspace.scot/
