Construction and manufacturing company CCG (Scotland) Ltd has returned to the private housing sector with a new contemporary housing development in Glasgow’s south side.

The Glasgow-based firm will offer a range of exclusive properties as part of the ‘Riverford Gardens’ development located in a riverside location on Riverford Road, Pollokshaws.

Delivered by CCG Homes, ‘Riverford Gardens’ will consist of 52 three and four-bedroom houses and 104 one and two-bedroom flats. Future homeowners are set to benefit from the natural surroundings of the river, private green space as well as excellent access to local amenities and transport links.

The leader of Glasgow City Council visited Riverford Gardens to officially launch what is one of the city’s largest private housing developments.

Cllr Susan Aitken, leader of Glasgow City Council and city convener for inclusive economic growth, said: “I’m pleased to launch this Riverford Gardens site and hear more about the role this development will play in the continued regeneration of Pollokshaws.

“When this development is completed, it will add to the range of houses and flats which are being built across the city. Future homeowners in this site can be sure of high quality homes in a part of the city with excellent amenities, transport links and access to green space.”

Calum Murray, director of CCG, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the Leader of Glasgow City Council to our site today to officially launch Riverford Gardens on what is a landmark project for CCG and CCG Homes.

“Our step back into the private housing market is due to our belief that the marketplace is in short supply of quality private housing that is attainable, particularly for first time buyers. We believe that Riverford Gardens, with the diversity of house types and an outstanding location, will be appealing to a range of buyers.

“The development will be undertaken entirely by the CCG Group from the delivery of energy efficient timber systems and construction through to the manufacture and fit out of all internals and services. By using our own products and expertise, we will be able to provide buyers with enhanced environmental and energy performance with an assurance of quality.”

CCG Homes aims to have the first properties ready before the end of 2018.
