The Stewart Gardens development at Malletsheugh is situated on the western edge of the desirable suburb of Newton Mearns in East Renfrewshire and work will begin on site this spring.

The development and its subsequent phases will provide a total of 86 new homes and 28 affordable homes, featuring a wide range of house types and price points to suit first time buyers, families and downsizers.

The first phase of the development will offer 30 stylish new homes ranging from one-bedroom bungalows, two-bedroom terraced houses and two- to five-bedroom detached homes.

The Stewart Gardens development is just minutes away from the open countryside and will include green spaces and natural, landscaped play areas.

The location of the development provides fast transport links into Glasgow and beyond and lies within the catchment area of some of East Renfrewshire’s top schools.

Joanne Casey, director of Mactaggart & Mickel, said: “We are proud of our heritage within Newton Mearns, with a number of popular Mactaggart & Mickel developments already established in the local area.

“We have already received high levels of interest from the community about our plans for Stewart Gardens and we look forward to creating a new neighbourhood with quality homes for the next generation of families to enjoy.”
