Morris Leslie has sold its modular buildings division to a new company formed by its former employee David Brown.

Mr Brown, who developed and grew the Perth-based company’s modular buildings and container sales business for 25 years, has formed DB Modular Buildings Ltd, which has now acquired Morris Leslie Modular Buildings.

“After working with Morris and the team for so many years, I am excited to begin this new chapter for the business,” Mr Brown said.

“DB Modular Buildings Ltd is a great opportunity for me to expand and further develop the key business areas, being the sale of modular and portable buildings and container sales across the UK.

“I have built up a great number of loyal, returning customers and contacts over the years and they will continue to receive the same high quality products and first class customer service they have come to expect.”

Morris Leslie, chairman of Morris Leslie Plant Ltd, added: “After David’s hardwork and commitment in developing the Modular Buildings business since its inception, we are delighted to see David grasp this opportunity and look forward to seeing his company continue to flourish in the future.”
