Plans for nearly 350 Glasgow Harbour flats submitted

Plans to build almost 350 flats at Glasgow Harbour have been officially submitted by development company Dandara.

Designed by Axis Mason Architecture, the multi-million pound proposals have been submitted to Glasgow City Council, with work expected to start next year once a decision is made in early 2015.

The application represents the third and final phase of development company Dandara’s gh20 residential development at Glasgow Harbour.

The first two phases built a combined 487 properties and this new proposal will build a further 348, if successful.

After public exhibitions of the plans in early August, the group has now proposed to build 348 apartments in a range of sizes.

Rachel Allwood from Dandara said: “We are delighted to have submitted the plans for the third and final phase of the gh2o development.

“The existing gh2o development is already award-winning and we hope that the final phase will build on this success.”

If planning permission is granted, it is expected that the developer will maintain ownership of the apartments, rather than selling them individually.
