The local authority’s planning committee gave the green light for 99 homes on the edge of Bridge of Don and another 30 in Milltimber.

Stewart Milne Homes will deliver 30 new homes on land west of Contlaw Road in Milltimber. The development would consist of 22 four and five-bedroom detached homes and eight semi-detached two and three-bedroom properties.

Council planners, who had recommended the development be approved, subject to the conclusion of a legal agreement, have suggested that the developer pays out almost £500,000 to go towards reconfiguring Cults Academy and a new primary school at Oldfold.

Meanwhile, Chingmere Limited’s 99-house development at Mundurno, Bridge of Don, was also subject to more than £500,000 in developer contributions.
