And finally… a cycle lane made for two

An attempt to mark out a cycle lane in Cambridge has led to the city’s first ‘dedicated tandem cycle lane’ being crowned.
Unusual road markings along Histon Road include two seats and a strangely-shaped back wheel. Part of the image appears to be older, while the newer section with the two seats seems to have been drawn on a newer patch of road material.
The Facebook user who posted the photo used the caption: ‘Cambridge’s first dedicated tandem cycle lane’.
