And finally... bootiful

A construction worker has won a dream car and cash prize in a competition - just in time for his new baby’s arrival.

Guy Jackson from Bradford was at work when he discovered he had won a new Range Rover Sport P460e Autobiography worth £104,720.

But the surprise did not end there, as Christian Williams, presenter of online competition specialist BOTB, revealed there was £20,000 in cash hidden in the boot.

The Dream Car Competition win comes at the perfect time for the 32-year-old who has just moved house and is set to welcome his second child later this year.

“I am over the moon to have won and still can’t quite believe it,” he said.

“We have only just moved house and my fiancée is 12 weeks pregnant, so the timing of this couldn’t have been better.

“We’ll be able to use some of the money to extend the house and do the baby’s room.

“I have been playing for about two years and when I saw Christian I knew what was coming,” said Guy, who was surrounded by his work colleagues.

“I won £1,000 once playing Roulette in Las Vegas, but have never won anything of this magnitude before.”

The Range Rover Sport P460e Autobiography features a 38kWh battery, 454bhp and top speed of 140mph.

BOTB offers a cash alternative which is usually 80 per cent of the UK RRP of the car.

The Leeds United fan is considering taking the cash alternative.

“I love the car and to own one would be amazing, but I just think the extra money would mean more to us as a family,” he said.

“A trip to Jamaica might also be on the cards. We were supposed to go last year, but had to change it at the last minute.”

BOTB hands over the keys to a stunning dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize.

Throughout February, BOTB is offering players the chance to win a whopping £1 million in its biggest ever competition giveaway.

Founded by William Hindmarch in 1999, it has given away a whopping £64m-worth of cars so far.

Christian said: “A massive congratulation to Guy for winning this amazing prize.

“His colleagues said he was usually very chatty, but I think we stunned him when he saw me and found out he had won.

“Having a new baby can be very expensive so I am sure the money will come in very handy for him and his family.”
