And finally… Dining room converted into Boeing 737 flight simulator

A father-of-two who was made redundant built a full-sized flight simulator of a Boeing 737 in his home and is now offering flying lessons.

With the help of tutorials on YouTube, David Naylor from Barnsley set about buying parts from around the world to complete his build.

And finally... Dining room converted into Boeing 737 flight simulator

The former catering manager said he began to build his flight simulator more than a year ago after losing his job.

He is now commanding around £95 per lesson without having to leave his home.

Mr Maylor told ITV: “I’ve always been into planes and flight simulations since I was a child and I got made redundant about 16 months ago and after watching videos on social media, I started to build my own.”

Despite Mr Naylor’s children thinking it’s “a bit mad”, he has had “people of all ages” come to his Barnsley dining room to learn a new skill.

“It was a hobby, it took me by surprise, I’m just taking it as the days come but I’m booked up three weeks in advanced and I’ll just see where it goes.” Mr Naylor said.
