And finally… Extinguish rebellion

The sprinklers outside a parliament building have been weaponised against protesters by authorities in New Zealand.

And finally... Extinguish rebellion

Anti-vaxxers have set up camp outside the country’s parliament, which has started turning on the sprinklers to discourage protesters from staying.

The greatest hits of Barry Manilow have also been playing on a loop through its speakers in a bid to disperse them.

As well as Barry Manilow, the parliament has been playing Macarena and pro-vaccine messages, the BBC reports.

English singer James Blunt, poking fun at his own unpopularity, tweeted at New Zealand police: “Give me a shout if this doesn’t work.”
