The farmyard animals were spotted at the top of Orion Drive in Sherford at approximately 8.15pm on April 16.

Jourdan Ford, who made the discovery, posted a video on Facebook where the comments were filled with other people who could also see the funny side of the ongoing break-in.

One commenter said: “I hope someone moves them on quick or else, as the night gets colder, they’ll be Friesian.”

A second commenter likened the cows to the construction workers, saying: “They look like ground workers.”
