And finally... it's a wild world

Thousands of people have applied to work as “wild men” in one of China’s most famous parks.

The £50-a-day job would see successful candidates walking around Shennongjia National Park while pretending to be one of its legendary “wild men” for the benefit of tourists.

The supposed wild men are said to be two-metres tall with red-brown hair and only speak in a language that sounds like “woo woo”, China Daily reports.

Around 10,000 people applied for the job, but most will be disappointed as there are only 16 vacancies.

The successful candidates will be expected to dress like “wild men”, walk around, dance and eat raw food given to them by tourists.

“You may bring your own tent and gather daily necessities independently… and you should run if confronting unknown creatures,” the job ad says.
