And finally… raised concerns

A Warrington couple were left baffled when scaffolding was mistakenly erected outside their home – nine miles from where it was supposed to be.
Mike Keeling and his wife, Leanne Smith, returned to their house on Ash Grove, Latchford, to find scaffolding covering the front despite having no work planned.
Doorbell footage later showed three unidentified workers putting it up while the couple were out.
“Nobody was in the house, and as I was driving back, my Ring doorbell went… I get back, turn onto my road at about 2.30pm, and think ‘somebody’s having some work done’ – but I realised it was my house,” Mike told the Warrington Guardian. “As you can imagine, I was a little bit shocked.”
The mystery left the pair ringing around local scaffolders and even contacting the Warrington Guardian to identify who was responsible. “The guys who did it had absolutely nothing on them to identify who they were,” Mike explained. “It partially blocked our driveway, so my wife could not charge her car, so it was a real pain in the neck.”
After a couple of days, the firm admitted to mixing up addresses: the scaffolding was meant for a property with the same house number on Ash Grove, Golborne.
“They turned up on Tuesday afternoon and removed the scaffolding,” Mike said. “Our understanding is that they just got the wrong address… It was an honest mistake, and they came and rectified it in good time. At least it’s gone now, so we can get on the drive and charge the car.”
