And finally… White Hart Lane construction workers skive to watch Tottenham v Palace

White Hart Lane is not just a football stadium at the moment, it is now also a construction site.

The home of Tottenham Hotspur has been partially demolished ahead of the building of the club’s new stadium.

Work has already started on the club’s new home, which will sit on the same road as the current 36,000-capacity ground.

And there were a small group of workers on site during Saturday’s Premier League game vs Crystal Palace.

As you can see, the workers weren’t doing much working during the match, which Spurs won 1-0.

The image was captured by CaughtOffside editor Rob Summerscales, who cast doubt on whether they were all big Spurs fans by judging their response, or lack of one, when Victor Wanyama struck his late winner.

Most of the workers went straight back to work (for the first time all afternoon) as soon as Wanyama scored, he added.

Tottenham are aiming to move into their new luxury 61,000-seater stadium for the start of the 2018/19 season.
