Arc-Tech supports Stirling elderly accommodation with turnkey M&E delivery
A turnkey building services package supplied by Arc-Tech (Scotland) has helped deliver a new care home in Stirling.
Located on Randolph Road, Roselea Court is the latest care home to have been delivered by care developer Morrison Community Care Group (MCCG).
The development has since been sold to a recognised care operator and provides up to 50 en-suite beds as well as a range of amenities including private dining rooms, a visitor café, hair salon, cinema, champagne bar and resident gardens.
Working with main contractor CCG (Scotland), Roselea Court is now the fourth of MCCG’s developments to have been supported by Arc-Tech with over 200 beds now delivered across the breadth of the country. The extent of the turnkey M&E service package includes the installation of all data, lighting, fire, security and electrical systems as well an LTHW heating system, sprinklers, BMS, comfort cooling and above-ground drainage, amongst other services.
John Gallacher, Arc-Tech (Scotland) managing director, said: “With an ageing population, it is becoming increasingly important to provide modern accommodation for the elderly and we are delighted to have played our part over the last five years with Morrison Community Care (MCCG) supporting the creation of over 200, much-needed beds across the breadth of the country.
“Roselea Court is our fourth project overall and the second to have been completed this year with both utilising a turnkey M&E Services package designed exclusively by Arc-Tech. I am absolutely delighted with the efforts of our design and contracts teams with a standard of finish befitting of the luxury that is seen throughout this fantastic development. We look forward to continuing our work with MCCG again in 2022.”
