Axiom Project Services expands Edinburgh and Glasgow teams with key hires

Project management, cost management and technical due diligence services provider Axiom Project Services Ltd has added several key personnel to its team in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

In addition to this are key hires in London and Manchester, along with an internal management relocation.

These strategic updates reflect the company’s continued growth from 2024, resulting from 85% repeat business, new key client generation and recognising the commitment to delivering exceptional client service across the UK for 2025.



New hires include:

  • Laurence Casserly (projects director), Edinburgh. Laurence, a previous employee of Axiom, has come back on board to strengthen the Edinburgh management team, with a strong background in project management for the Commercial, Leisure, Healthcare, and Residential Sectors. The Edinburgh Office also welcome new hires Martin McHatton (quantity surveyor), Callum Chisholm (quantity surveyor) and Jade Adam (assistant project manager).  
  • Darren Williamson (associate director), Glasgow. Darren is a pro-active, commercially focused, Chartered Project Manager with over 14 years’ experience in delivering projects in the Private Commercial Office Sector, Hospitality & Leisure and the Public Sector including Education and Social Housing. The Glasgow Office also welcomes Conor Murphy (project manager) and Kara Mackenzie (admin support).
  • Tim Reeves (projects director), London. Tim brings over 15+ years of experience in the construction industry around London, specialising in complex leisure projects and is focused on growth for Axiom around the South of England.
  • Tsara Howard (senior project manager), Manchester. Tsara has a strong background in the leisure sector in particular, having developed and maintained successful working relationships with key leisure development specialists, as well as having previous experience working on the main contractor side of the industry.

Along with these new hires, Axiom has promoted from within Stephen Nash (projects director), Christopher Hunter (projects director), Jamie Ross (associate director), Jonathan Burns (project manager), and Caroline Meeke (associate director) who is relocating to the Manchester office to further strengthen Axiom’s presence in the region.

In Edinburgh, the company is responsible for a number of developments, including a commercial office redevelopment at 30 Semple Street for BBC Pension Trust Ltd / CBRE Investment Management, a new build BTR development providing 464 units, including 116 affordable units, on Bonnington Road for Platform_ and a recent appointment to deliver a new 652-bed hotel on Princes Street for client, Criterion Capital Ltd.

And in Glasgow, Axiom is working on the delivery of the AC Hotel by Marriott Glasgow on George Street and has recently won contracts to deliver a 934-bed PBSA development at Central Quay for Unite Students Plc and a c. 550-bed PBSA development for BHS Glasgow on Sauchiehall Street.
