Jaguar Land RoverNew Jaguar Land Rover Arch Facility opens in Ayr

The construction of a new state-of-the-art car Arch Facility in Ayr has been officially completed by CCG.

Located on Heathfield Road and delivered on behalf of Park’s Motor Group, the new facility took one year to build and has created 50 long-term jobs for the car sales industry. The Arch Facility will house a selection of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in a generous showroom space adjacent to the company’s old showroom on the corner of Heathfield Road and Lochfield Road.

CCG began work on the site in September 2016, following a series of projects the company had completed for Park’s Motor Group from 2011-13, including the iconic MINI and BMW showroom located on Glasgow’s Kyle Street.

Glasgow-based Arc-Tech provided a complete Design, Build and Commission mechanical and electrical package which includes highly specified showroom lighting, general internal power, lighting and emergency lighting, external lighting, power and illuminated signage, air conditioning systems, heating and water services, specialist supplies to workshop equipment, supply and extract ventilation systems, and drainage.

Features of the new Jaguar Land Rover facility, which is now open to the general public, include a panoramic glass frontage and open landscaping to the sides of the building as well as high-specification office space for sales and office staff.

Local diversions will be sign-posted, and from the west side of the AWPR will be via the B979 to Stonehaven, the A90 to Bridge of Muchalls, and the C12K to Clayfolds. The reverse route should be used by those travelling from the east side of the AWPR.
