CECA Scotland appoints new regional director

David Macdonald
CECA Scotland has appointed David Macdonald as its new regional director.
Macdonald has a background in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector, and is dedicated to leading the way for progress in the industry across Scotland.
Looking forward, the CECA Scotland Board hopes to boost engagement with its members and champion civil engineering within Scotland and the wider UK, with the new appointment.
Macdonald was regional director of STRABAG UK between October 2025 to April 2026 and was the director of Global Infrastructure (Scotland) from May 2010 to October 2025.
