Chris Stewart GroupCommercial property investment development company Chris Stewart Group (CSG) has expanded its senior management team with an eye to future acquisitions and investments.

The Edinburgh firm is looking to corner the urban regeneration market by adding Rory Stephens of Manse to its deal origination team as well as experienced project director Tim Currie, previously of Goldman Sachs International.

With more than ten years’ experience in the commercial property market, Rory Stephens joins CSG to help identify new acquisition and development opportunities in key UK cities. Following six years working with DTZ’s Scottish capital markets team, he joined Lloyds Banking Group where he advised on the asset management and disposal of the bank’s non-core loan book in the UK and Ireland.

Their appointments bring the total number of staff at CSG to more than 75.

Chief executive Chris Stewart said the pair had been brought on board to “maximise” the company’s position in the market, with each bringing “a wealth of experience and expertise”.
