Designed to provide a premium student living experience, each bedroom is self-contained and includes an en-suite shower room, kitchenette and dining space.

The lower ground, ground and first floors also provide a range of high-quality operational and amenity areas, including a staffed reception, parcel room, student lounge, study and meeting rooms, gym, laundry, storage, and a flexible bookable kitchen, dining and games space.

The refurbishment included the comprehensive strip-out and conversion of the existing building, alongside external works including full replacement of the roof coverings, stonework repairs and drainage improvements.

A key feature of the completed building is the atrium artwork created by Efomural, which forms a striking focal point within Glasgow Citi View and celebrates the character of the restored building.

Raj Sehgal, director at Union Property Development, said: “Glasgow Citi View represents a significant investment in bringing a vacant, Category B listed building back into meaningful use, and we’re really proud of what’s been achieved.

“Our design team has done a brilliant job of respecting the character of the original building while creating a warm, modern space that students will genuinely enjoy living in. Being so close to both Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian, we think it will be a great home for students during their time in Glasgow.”
