Clyde Scaffolding secures key local authority housing framework wins

Clyde Scaffolding has secured a new local authority framework contract with Stirling Council alongside a major contract renewal with West Dunbartonshire Council, extending a continuous working relationship that has spanned over 15 years.
The company currently holds long-standing local authority scaffolding contracts across six regional council areas: West Dunbartonshire, Stirling, East Dunbartonshire, Falkirk, West Lothian and Clackmannanshire.
While the expansion of its local authority housing portfolio marks a major milestone, Clyde Scaffolding continues to balance public sector framework delivery with a strong footprint in high-profile commercial and urban construction, and is also active on specialist conservation works across Scotland.
To support its expanding workload across both the commercial and public sectors, Clyde Scaffolding recently completed a comprehensive fleet modernisation.

The investment includes five brand-new HIAB vehicles alongside more than 20 new delivery and operational vehicles, fully custom-wrapped to feature iconic Scottish landmark graphics. The fleet overhaul is designed to maximise operational efficiency and streamline material delivery to live sites.
Speaking on the framework awards and ongoing growth, Ewan Bisset, director at Clyde Scaffolding, said: “Securing the Stirling Council contract alongside maintaining long-standing relationships with West Dunbartonshire and Falkirk councils is a testament to the hard work, safety standards and consistency of our operational teams.”
Gerry Duffy, director at Clyde Scaffolding, said: “Whether we are supporting essential social housing improvements, delivering complex commercial access in Glasgow city centre, or working on sensitive heritage assets like New Lanark, our focus remains on safety, reliability and logistics.
“Our recent fleet investment ensures we have the modern capacity required to serve both our public sector partners and major commercial main contractors efficiently.”
