The event will form part of the CPA marking 85 years of representing the construction plant-hire sector of the UK. 

The black-tie event brings together CPA members, manufacturers, suppliers and industry leaders for an evening of networking, entertainment and celebration. 

Guests will have a welcome drinks reception followed by a three-course gala dinner before an evening of entertainment led by industry journalist and online content creator Peter Haddock.

This year’s headline entertainment will be delivered by Martin Johnson CBE, England Rugby World Cup-winning captain alongside the comedian Mick Miller. 

Steve Mulholland, chief executive officer of the CPA, said: “The response to our inaugural Gala Dinner exceeded all expectations and demonstrated just how much our industry values opportunities to come together away from the day-to-day pressures of business.

“This year’s event is particularly special as we celebrate the CPA’s 85th anniversary.”

Mulholland added: “For more than eight decades the Association has represented and supported the plant-hire sector, and the Gala Dinner provides the perfect opportunity to recognise that heritage while celebrating the people, businesses and relationships that continue to drive our industry forward.”
