The firm behind plans for 10 new homes at Crook of Devon in rural Kinross-shire has appealed a rejection with the Scottish Government

Crook of Devon housing rejection appealed

Plans for the homes were rejected by Perth & Kinross Council’s planning and development management committee back in June.

The plans, which received six rejections, were first submitted in October last year.

Concerns were raised about the development’s expected impact on the surrounding area and lack of affordable homes, prompting councillors to label the submission as “the wrong development in the wrong place”.

Concerns were also raised concerning visibility for drivers, The Courier reports.

Shand Architecture has taken the decision to Scotland’s highest level fo appeal, nothing there were no environmental objections other than from voting members and arguing the project should be approved.
