Shaun Hassel, from Kirkcaldy, a site manager based at Dalmore Gardens in Auchendinny and Peter Lawrie, from Dunfermline, who manages Earl’s Way development in Glenrothes, were recognised for their outstanding Health & Safety work.

Held in Birmingham, the Home Builder Safety Awards recognise the industry’s best homebuilding teams who are inspected on over 22 different site categories such as traffic management, fire safety, documentation and welfare.

John Dierikx, construction director, Bellway Homes Ltd (Scotland East), said: “Shaun and Peter have consistently high standards and it’s terrific that this has been recognised not just once but twice this year.  Their attention to detail is exceptional and we’re proud of their achievements.”

Earlier this year, Shaun and Peter each secured a Quality Award at the NHBC Pride in the Job competition, and Peter went on to win a Seal of Excellence Award.
