Eagle Hire invests £4m in fleet expansion with Scot JCB
Scottish hire company Eagle Hire has invested £4 million in a deal with Glasgow-based Scot JCB, acquiring a new fleet of JCB machinery ranging from JCB dumpsters to JCB 86C-2 midi excavators.
Eagle Hire’s order of 127 state-of-the-art JCB machines, all equipped with the latest stage V engines, marks a significant milestone in their journey.
Iain MacDonald, sales director at Eagle Hire, said: “We chose to invest with Scot JCB as it not only allowed us to tap into a range of machinery, we didn’t previously have access to, but they are known for their transparency and unwavering commitment to putting the customer first, values that resonate very deeply with us.”
Amidst the new fleet of mini and midi excavators, Eagle Hire has added JCB 6 Ton Dumpers, JCB CT160-80 and CT260-120 tandem rollers to offer their rapidly growing customer base an even wider range of hire options.
John Monaghan, plant director, stated: “The JCB products have a great reputation, they are good machines and I’m sure they will help us to keep our business growing, they are already starting to go out to customers and the feedback has been positive so far.”
Scot JCB key account manager, Colin Buchanan and JCB Finance’s territory manager David Dodds played pivotal roles in the deal with Eagle Hire.
Commercial director John Cummings praised the seamless process, saying: “Colin and David made the whole experience quick and simple – JCB Finance is a true asset to Scot JCB.”
Iain Bryant, joint managing director of Scot JCB, echoed the enthusiasm stating: “Working with Eagle Hire is very important to Scot JCB, we see this as the start of a long-lasting relationship, and we look forward to working with them over the coming years as we both build and grow our businesses.”
