Edinburgh Boiler Company shortlisted for two awards

The Edinburgh Boiler Company (EBC) is hoping for a double success next month after being nominated in two categories at the inaugural Scottish Business of the Year Awards run by TheBusinessDesk.com.
The firm has been shortlisted for Small Business of the Year (up to 50 employees) and Fast Growth Business of the Year following a site visit to its base in Dalkeith by judges.
EBC has gone from strength to strength in recent years, with an aggressive expansion strategy underpinned by acquisitions having been unveiled towards the end of 2025.
Managing director Dougie Bell has hailed the latest recognitions as reward for the work being done by his team.
He said: “Being shortlisted for both categories is a massive moment for us at The Edinburgh Boiler Company.
“Over the last couple of years, we’ve gone through serious growth, doubling turnover, expanding the team, and pushing into renewables with solar, batteries, and heat pumps.
“But more than the numbers, this recognition is about the foundations we’ve put in place.
“We have worked hard to build a proper business with strong processes, the right accreditations and a local team that actually cares about doing things right for customers.
“To be recognised externally, especially after judges have taken the time to visit and properly understand what we do, gives real credibility to the journey we’re on.”
Award winners are set to be unveiled at a dinner in Glasgow in June.
