The firm scooped the prestigious ‘Consultancy of the Year’ at the awards dinner which took place on November 23 at the Hilton, Glasgow.

The Faithful+Gould projects James McCune Smith Learning Hub for The University of Glasgow and The Barony Campus (Scotland’s largest School Campus) for East Ayrshire Council received further award recognition:

Faithful+Gould’s excellence in project management and cost management services supported the delivery of these award-winning educational facilities. The panel judges commented that these examples were ‘leading edge and demonstrated a broad spectrum of support to their clients with very successful outcomes’.

The James McCune Smith Learning Hub boosts the University’s global leadership in learning/teaching excellence. A community asset, the project generated £135 million in social value and economic impact. This exemplary landmark facility adds to the social fabric of the local community and city, as well as contributing to the placemaking agenda.



The £68m, 23,000m² new-build Barony Campus provides an inclusive and nurturing 21st century learning environment for over 2,000 pupils at Cumnock in East Ayrshire. Forming Scotland’s largest integrated school campus, the facility brings together two primary schools and two secondaries, plus an additional support school and early years provision.

It is an indication of the efforts of our fantastic team who put everything they have into the success of their projects. These facilities have created c17,000 new student places, including >350 SEN pupil places, and improving classroom conditions for over 22,000 students and staff.”
