FTI Consulting relocates to Glasgow

FTI Consulting has today announced the opening of its dedicated Construction, Projects & Assets practice in Glasgow.
Relocating from Stirling to the city’s West Regent Street, the move marks a new chapter of continued investment in the firm’s built environment capabilities in the UK.
“The opening of our Glasgow office has given our Scottish team a real boost, and it sets the stage for our long-term growth journey — one that my colleagues Michael Neill and Graeme Conway will play a key role as they continue to lead the office,” said Manoj Bahl, head of the UK and Ireland Construction, Projects & Assets practice at FTI Consulting.
“It also shows our commitment to our clients and to Scotland’s construction and infrastructure market. This sector plays a vital role in supporting the local economy and shaping communities. From our new home in Glasgow, we’re excited to further expand our capabilities, respond to the needs of the local market and help both new and long-standing clients achieve their goals.”
FTI Consulting’s Glasgow office builds on the firm’s 16-year presence in Stirling, delivering multidisciplinary construction and infrastructure-related solutions to project owners, developers, lenders, contractors and their legal advisors.
The firm’s Glasgow team provide expert-led advice and support on contentious and non-contentious construction issues, such as the valuation of defects, dispute resolution and assessing the financial impact of delays or disruptions. They also advise on various types of construction contracts, effective record keeping and strategies for dispute avoidance.
With deep sector knowledge across construction, energy and renewables, transportation, urban development, utilities and commercial property, the Construction, Projects & Assets team supports clients at every stage of an asset’s lifecycle. FTI Consulting has worked on some of the most iconic buildings on Glasgow’s skyline, as well as key infrastructure projects that are part of Scotland’s cultural and economic landscape.
Earlier this year, the firm strengthened its construction delay and disputes capabilities in Scotland with the addition of senior director Christopher Martin and director David Mark.
