A team of GRAHAM employees has raised £11,699 for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity (GCHC) after completing two charity skydives in Auchterarder on 10 and 17 August.

The 19-strong team from construction firm GRAHAM’s Building North division has surpassed its ambitious £10,000 fundraising target, which will fund two mobile sensory units for young patients experiencing long stays in hospital.

The skydives are the latest in a year of fundraising activities to raise funds for GCHC. In December 2024, the company donated £10,000 to GCHC and held several festive initiatives, including a Christmas Jumper Day, a tombola, and a bake sale, raising a further £600.

Staff also volunteered at the hospital’s Santa’s grotto, with six employees donning elf costumes to help spread some festive cheer.

GCHC supports thousands of families every year, funding medical equipment, family support services, and enhancements to hospital facilities.

Chris MacLeod, regional director at GRAHAM, said: “Passing our £10,000 fundraising target and reaching almost £11,700 is an excellent outcome. The support from colleagues, families and partners has been vital in helping us achieve this.

“Funding two mobile sensory units will provide a real benefit for children under the care of GCHC, and we hope that the donation will make a lasting impact on both the children and their families.”
