Hannah Lloyd brings a distinctive combination of private practice experience, deep sector network and commercial development expertise that is directly relevant to GLM’s growth ambitions.

She joins from Built Environment Smarter Transition (BE-ST), Scotland’s Innovation Centre for the built environment, where she has been working in a business development capacity. Before that, she spent three years as Business Development Manager at Scottish Land and Estates (SLE), the membership organisation representing rural businesses and landowners across Scotland.

Hannah is not new to GLM. She was a member of the practice team from 2016 to 2022. During that time, she established and led the practice’s Highland office in Inverness, developing a significant client network across the north of Scotland and building the professional relationships that have contributed to some of the practice’s most significant current commissions.

She is vice chair and a director of the Women in Property Limited Board and is the host and founder of the Women in Wellies Podcast sharing stories, experiences and lessons from life in rural Scotland.

In her new role, Hannah will lead GLM’s business development activity across Scotland, with a particular focus on the practice’s core market segments: private estates and rural property, hotel and hospitality, high-net-worth residential, and commercial building owners. She will work alongside GLM’s marketing team and will be active across the practice’s key professional networks, including Scottish Land & Estates, Scottish Agritourism, and BUELL Hospitality.
