HB currently employs 45 people across Scotland including its own directly employed trades from its office in Livingston and has projects currently on-site or in pre-development from Alness to Berwick for framework clients such as ASDA, B&Q and Morrisons plus new client, the University of Edinburgh.

The business specialises in complex, live, multi-stakeholder environments and credits its success to the maintenance of sustainable customer and supplier relationships, as well as creating a working environment that their teams can thrive in.

Regional director, Craig Robertson, said: “It is an exciting time at HB Projects, we continue to respond to high demand in our key sectors as national retailers and commercial property owners are adapting to the ever changing environment. We have been operating in Scotland, relatively under the radar for over 10 years, and Gail’s appointment marks our intention to grow our Scottish operations.”

Commenting on her appointment, Gail added: “I’m looking forward to being part of a dynamic and ambitious business. The team at HB have an impressive track record of delivering complex projects in live environments for many of the UK’s biggest retailers and commercial organisations, and I know that there are many other clients who would benefit from their expertise and experience.”
