In Pictures: Winners revealed at 2025 Scottish Home Awards
The winners of the 2025 Scottish Home Awards have been officially announced following a spectacular awards evening held in Glasgow last night.
Over 600 guests gathered at the DoubleTree by Hilton to mark the 18th annual ceremony, proudly sponsored by Ross & Liddell. The event honoured outstanding achievements across the new build housing sector, recognising the individuals and organisations delivering high-quality, sustainable, and desirable homes across the country.
Hosted by comedian and broadcaster Des Clarke, the ceremony celebrated winners across 19 award categories. This year’s major accolades went to Barratt Homes & David Wilson Homes West Scotland - Housebuilder of the Year (More than 100 units), Cala Homes - House of the Year, CCG (Scotland) - Excellence in Sustainability, and Caledonia Housing Association - Housing Association of the Year, all recognised for their innovation, commitment to sustainability, and impact on communities.
The awards continue to shine a spotlight on projects that go beyond design and construction to deliver real value for communities, particularly in social housing and regeneration. Noteworthy winners included Link Group Ltd for Dunbeg Phase 3 in Argyll, and a powerful collaboration between Govan Housing Group, Collective Architecture, and CCG (Scotland), recognised for exceptional regeneration work.
The evening also supported a charitable cause, with guests generously contributing to It’s Good To Give, adding a philanthropic dimension to an already inspiring celebration.
Cruden is also celebrating success after its retirement development in Barnton, Edinburgh, was named Housing Development of the Year (Small, Private Sale). Designed specifically for the over-55s, The Avenue offers a high-quality mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, penthouses and villas.
With its focus on style, convenience and community - including beautifully designed communal spaces and a 24-hour concierge - the development was said to set a new benchmark for age-exclusive living.
Fraser Lynes, managing director of Cruden Homes, said: “We are incredibly proud to have received this recognition at the Scottish Home Awards. This accolade is a direct reflection of the commitment, innovation, and partnership working that drives every project we undertake.”
