Established in 2020, Linear Building Compliance (LBC) and Linear Fire Safety (LFS) will now operate as one integrated unit under the LBC banner. The integration brings together extensive expertise in fire risk assessments, fire safety management and fire safety training, further strengthening LBC’s portfolio of services across all sectors.

Stephen Holmes, CEO at Linear Group, said: “We launched Linear Building Compliance six years ago recognising that specialist services were in high demand and clients’ were increasingly looking to minimise their risk by engaging with quality, fully certified and accountable businesses.

“Over this period, we’ve seen that there is much to be gained for integrating our expertise and streamlining our overarching service offering. This has led to the decision to merge Linear Fire Safety into LBC which we feel will not only strengthen the offering but also give clients an enhanced experience.”

Headed up by managing director Andrew Shankland, the newly merged division will deliver UK-wide solutions for all types of new and existing buildings, ranging from individual premises, multiple sites to large-scale complexes.

Commenting on the merger, Andrew said: “This development will provide a wider range of support services to all our clients while continuing to provide the same high standard of service, support, and technical expertise that they currently receive but now all within one company.”
