Public exhibitions will be held next week providing the opportunity for the public to learn more about the approach to developing a long-term solution and are encouraged to provide their feedback.

Transport Scotland staff and its technical adviser WSP will be available at the events to answer any questions on the project.

Hok-Weng Chau, M8 Woodside project manager, Transport Scotland, said: “The public engagement events next week are an opportunity for road users and the community to view and comment on the early emerging options. I would encourage anyone with an interest in the project to come along to one of the events or view the material online and share their feedback to help shape the future plan for this part of the M8 motorway.”

The public engagement events will take place on:

• Wednesday 25 February 2026, 12noon to 7pm - Dundasvale Residents Hall and Community Hub, 12 Dundasvale Court, Glasgow, G4 0JS
• Wednesday 4 March 2026, 10am to 5pm - Woodside Halls, 36 Glenfarg Street, Glasgow, G20 7QE

A virtual exhibition room will also be available online from noon on Wednesday 25 February 2026 for anyone unable to attend the in-person events.
