Lovell secures permission for 91 new homes in West Lothian
Lovell Homes has secured permission to build 91 new homes on the south eastern fringe of Dechmont, West Lothian.
The homes will be built on what is currently open land located on the boundary with the A899.
The firm had earlier won an appeal lodged with Scottish ministers and permission in principle was granted for up to 120 homes.
The homes will be a range of sizes and include a percentage of affordable homes, the Herald reports.
The development will add to housebuilding at the Bangour Village site at the western end of the village as Dechmont transforms from a once-isolated village on a largely empty A89 to a busy commuter corridor settlement.
