Maxi goes back to college for fourth contract win

Maxi Construction has been awarded a contract for alteration works to two buildings within West Lothian College in Livingston.

This is the company’s fourth contract award for the College over the past two years, procured via the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Construction Works and Associated Services Framework.

Alterations within Building 2 will provide new teaching and workshop space within the joinery workshop and the creation of a break-out area within the motor vehicle workshop. Building 5 will undergo alterations to provide teaching space, a hair salon and flexible workspace.

John Aitchison, Maxi Construction’s managing director, said: “We are delighted to be returning to West Lothian College again to continue our working relationship with the Client and project team and provide improved facilities for the College and students.”

The project team includes client West Lothian College, project manager and cost consultant Campbell Martin Associates and architect McGinlay Bell.

Maxi Construction is appointed to Lot 1.1.4 of the CCS Construction Works and Associated Services Framework for Building Works up to £3m throughout Scotland.
