Staff went to Ayr Racecourse for a day of racing, hospitality, and celebration to mark 80 years since the company was established in 1946.

Reaching an 80th anniversary signifies a key milestone, with McTaggart Construction being eager to give recognition to the site teams and office staff for their commitment. The Ayr Gold Cup day was one way to express gratitude to the workforce. 

Janice Russell, managing director at McTaggart Construction, said: “Every single person across the business plays a part in our success, and days like this are a way of saying thank you for everything they do.”

The Ayr Gold Cup day is part of a programme of events McTaggart has held during the year to celebrate its 80th anniversary, which recognises the input of staff to the company’s growth from when it was founded to McTaggart’s recent work in delivering social and affordable housing in Scotland.
