Miller Homes has appointed Scott Chamberlin to its board to oversee the expansion of its land acquired for building.

A Chartered Town Planner Scott joins the company as divisional managing director – strategic land with over 25 years’ industry experience, most recently as a managing director of Gleeson Strategic Land Limited, where he was instrumental in significantly growing the business and delivering year on year profit returns from land sales.

Prior to joining MJ Gleeson Group in 1994, he worked as a policy planner in the public sector (Mid Devon District Council) dealing with local plan preparations, examinations and listed building consents.

His role will be to oversee the expansion and development of the Group’s strategic land bank, along with the successful promotion of sites through the planning system, to support our ambitious growth plans.”

Miller Homes said it completed 2,775 homes in 2017, and plans to grow annual sales to 4,000 homes in the medium term.
