Housebuilder Miller Homes has announced its 2022 Community Fund winners across Scotland.

Nineteen projects across the East and West of Scotland have received donations to help better their community, seeing the homebuilder donate £10,000 to worthy causes across the UK.

Created to support local charities, projects and groups near its developments, Miller Homes’ Community Fund is helping sports clubs, community halls, foodbanks, mental health charities and organisations supporting the most vulnerable members in our communities.

Food for Thought located in West Dunbartonshire, Paisley Rugby Club, Dynamite Gymnastics Club in Clydebank, Home Start West Lothian, Dunfermline Men’s Shed and Dementia Friendly in Tranent are just a handful of the projects that were successful in receiving funding.

Since launching in September 2022, there have been over 400 applications across the UK and 96 local groups have been supported through the initiative.

David McGrath, divisional managing director for Miller Homes Scotland commented on the Community Fund: “This heart-warming campaign has given us a great opportunity to speak to groups and causes across our regions and understand what support they need to help improve the work they do. As a homebuilder, community is at the heart of what we do, and it brings us great joy to support these projects and see them develop.”
