Morgan Sindall’s profit expectations to exceed previous forecasts
Morgan Sindall expects its full-year results to be ahead of earlier forecasts, with strong trading momentum continuing and Fit-Out delivering “strong profits”.
In its trading update, the contractor said the Construction division has continued to see strong performance and “is on track to deliver materially higher, double-digit profit growth, significantly ahead of expectations.”
Construction is expected to deliver “double-digit growth” on 2025’s profits of £39 million.
Fit-out is “well-positioned” to outdo 2025’s profits of £139.9m.
Infrastructure is also expected to deliver double-digit profit growth - forecast to beat the 2025 profits of £37.2m.
The infrastructure division continues to anticipate that revenues will progress to around £1 billion, with £935m being recorded in 2025.
Mixed Use Partnerships continued to prioritise project starts, with seven projects starting on site in the initial nine months and a further three planned by the end of the year.
The trading update continued: “Despite the prevailing market conditions, the strength and breadth of the Group’s diverse operations, the visibility provided by its high-quality order book for the forthcoming year, and alongside the self-help measures already taken accompanied with the capital allocation discipline in place, the Group remains confident that the outlook for 2027 will be in line with current expectations.”
