New apartments planned in Glasgow’s Southside

Proposals by Holmes Miller and Oobe call for 43 flats to be delivered above a semi-basement car park at 152 Newlands Road.

Most of the properties will be dual aspect apartments and penthouses with associated communal and private external amenity space.

The apartments include dedicated home office spaces where possible, extensive cycle parking, and concealed private parking for the majority of apartments, all with EV charging.

According to the planning statement, client Newlands Lifestyle Living “has prioritised a combination of high-quality 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with the extensive provision of communal gardens and generous private balconies and terraces throughout”.
