New director appointments at Pert Bruce Construction
Montrose-based principal contractor Pert Bruce Construction has appointed two new members to the board of directors.
Laura Reid and Ronnie Lochrie have been promoted with immediate effect with Laura taking up the role of procurement director while Ronnie assumes the role of surveying director.
Pert Bruce managing director, Craig Bruce, said: “Ronnie has been with the company for nearly two years and when employing Ronnie, we always had one eye on the fact current Surveying Director Jamie Pert was stepping into retirement and we needed someone to take the helm in the surveying department. We understand that this is a developing role and Ronnie has been acting up as such for a number of months, we felt that the time was now right and as a director, he will have the authority to fully stamp his own mark on the role.
“Laura’s work and diligence in controlling the costs of materials, plant, vehicles and development of the buying structure within the business has proven essential to moving forward, ensuring we maintain stringent cost controls within the business.”
Craig added: “I wish them both the best in their new roles, and the challenges it will bring. They will both be very good additions to the current board, ensuring we always do the best for the company and all voices are heard.”
